OSI Group Celebrates Two Decades Of Booming Business In The Chinese Market

OSI Group is known all over the world for supplying value-added protein products such as beef patties and sausage links. The corporation also supplies other products such as sandwiches and pizza to the leading food service brands in various parts of the world. OSI Group operates more than 50 facilities in seventeen countries, and the company is employing its global efficiency and local strategy to penetrate the Chinese market.

OSI has been doing business in China for the last two decades. The Chinese economy has experienced massive growth, and the company’s presence in the country has been growing with it. The firm currently operates eight factories and is set out to open two more facilities in the country. With the ten facilities in place, OSI will be one of the largest poultry producers in the country.

In 2012, the company launched a new mega-plant to increase its production capacity. The facility was established in Henan Province. In the same month, OSI Group announced the partnership with DOYOO Group to create DaOSI. OSI’s presence in China serves clients such as McDonald’s, Starbuck, Saizeriya, Yum, Papa john’s, Subway and Burger King.

During the Olympics in Beijing in 2008, OSI China supplied more than 113 tons of five main products that include beef, pork, chicken, eggs and dehydrated onion. The company did not receive even a single complaint. The company won praises from around the globe. Since then, the firm has been focusing on supplying high-quality products to major outlets in the country.

OSI Group has had a lot of interests in expanding its European Market. Therefore, the purchase of Baho Food would help to magnify its presence in the region. Baho enterprise focuses on supplying meat and other products to retail and other food businesses in eighteen European countries.
